Find the number that is the sum (or product) of two others. First to the goal wins.

Two players take turns joining dots. A new dot grows on the line. Each dot allows three lines. Whoever plays last wins.
Franco maze
Ages 6+
Each of you builds a maze for the other, then walks it blind. Hit a wall and you lose the whole turn. First to the finish wins.
Ultimate tic-tac-toe
Ages 5+
Every cell of the big board hides a small tic-tac-toe. The cell you play sends your opponent to that board.
Penny Wise
Ages 6+
Put a coin down, take back a little less in change. The last one holding coins wins.

Where these games come from
Sprouts was invented in 1967 by John Conway and Michael Paterson at the University of Cambridge. That year is written in a 1991 Carnegie Mellon report, Computer Analysis of Sprouts. Kakooma was invented by Greg Tang. His first Kakooma Puzzles book came out in 2010, and Scholastic published editions in 2012.Sprouts on Wikipedia.
